Parenting by One was born in my heart more than ten years ago. As a single parent, I faced all of life’s “normal” situations, and at times I was just overwhelmed! With the responsibilities of motherhood, I also worked full-time, kept up my home, and was very involved in my church. Had it not been for good friends, it would have been nearly impossible to do all of this. I always felt that God had a plan for me to encourage single parents. Because of this, I created the book "Saving Our Singles - 101 Ways The Church Can Reach The Single Parent" to help churches as they minister to single parents.
